The J. E. Caerwyn Williams and Gwen Williams Memorial Lecture for 2001 contains a detailed study of ‘Edmyg Dinbych’, the only court poem from south Wales that has survived from the period preceding that of the Poets of the Princes around 1096. Included is a copy of the poem in modern orthography, together with a paraphrase.
